the chief enemy of creativity is good sense

the chief    enemy of creativity is good sense

if you hear a voice within you say

you cannot paint then by all means

paint and that voice will be silenced

i see drawings and pictures in the
poorest of huts

and the dirtiest of corners

if people knew how hard i worked to get
my mastery

it wouldn't seem so wonderful at all

genius is eternal patience

every child is an artist

the problem is how to remain an artist
once

we grow up

a work of art which did not begin an
emotion

is not art

inspiration does exist

but it must find you working

the purpose of art is washing the dust

of daily life off our souls

have no fear of perfection

you'll never reach it

i am not sick i am broken

but i am happy to be alive as long

as i can paint

i am still learning
you
